What's next on the calendar
Meetings run biweekly and are open to candidates. Firm presentations fill quickly in the fall.
No meetings are on the calendar right now. The schedule fills at the start of each semester.

Written for the skeptical junior deciding whether this is worth the dues and the meetings.

Recruiters, before everyone else
Firms present to our members every semester, months before campus-wide recruiting opens. Members meet the people who make hiring decisions, not a booth at a career fair.
02
Answers from more than one firm
Panels bring recruiters and practitioners from several firms into the same room — what to expect in an interview, what they look for, how to handle multiple offers, and the skills that move you further.
03
A network with a long memory
Phi Chapter alumni are across public accounting, industry, government, and banking. Membership is the introduction that still works ten years out.
04
Service that means something
Chapter-organized volunteer work across Baton Rouge, including tax assistance for families who could not otherwise afford a preparer.
The firms who back this chapter.
Their sponsorship is what puts practicing accountants in front of our members every semester, funds the service projects, and puts on the initiation banquet.
Our network runs through LinkedIn.
Chapter news, speaker announcements, and banquet details go there first — and it stays current without anyone maintaining a list by hand.
Applications open each fall and spring.
Meet the standard, submit the form, and start attending. Everything after that happens over the course of one semester.
